Dr. Mark H. Lin graduated from University of Toronto in the Biochemistry
Specialists honors program. He received his professional dental training from
the University of Detroit Mercy.
During dental school, his accomplishments included being on Dean’s list for four consecutive years, receiving numerous awards and finishing within the top 5% of the class. Between third and fourth year of dental school, he was CHOSEN to participate in an Externship program in the specialty of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Program at the Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Lin then completed a 1-year intensive General Practice Residency program and obtained his Intravenous Conscious Sedation (Dentistry Asleep) requirements along with advanced surgical training at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
He currently maintains a private General Dentistry practice with emphasis and focus on Esthetic and Implant dentistry in North York, Ontario. His scope of general practice includes cosmetic dentistry, advanced bone grafting, surgical placement of dental implants and different restorative and reconstructive full mouth therapies. As a general practitioner, Dr. Mark Lin places an average of over 100 implants per year.
He is currently a “Fellow” with the International Congress of Oral Implantology and is the “President” of “The Toronto Pinnacle Implant Study Club”. The Study Club is made of a group of General Dentists with advanced training in the field of Implantology. He also serves as “Clinical Instructor” to the “Millennium Aesthetics in Niagara” program dedicated to training dentists in the field of Cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Lin lectures nationally and internationally on the topics of Implant Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry and Practice Management to the dental profession. He is also a graduate and “Fellow” with the Misch International Institute, which has trained over 2000 dentists in the field of Advanced Implantology worldwide.
Dr. Lin is the “President” and founder of “The Toronto Institute For Dental Excellence Incorporated” (T.I.D.E. Inc.). The institute is made of various Specialists and General dentists dedicated to teaching, training and advancing the dental profession in various disciplines of dentistry.
